Well kind of . . . after 5 days without power due to the ice storm we got slammed by here in the upstate, we are trying to get back to somewhat a normal routine. The house is almost back in order and now the trees, limbs, and power lines on the outside need attention.
We are looking foward to taking a few days over Christmas to just "chill" as a family. And hopefully to celebrate our last Christmas without Sophie.
Just an update on all the paperwork. We are very,very,very close to being done with our dossier. I am awaiting our rough draft from our homestudy (has taken a bit longer than i was expecting :( ) and our family photo page needs to be completed. We received our passports in the mail on Thursday ( i look like a terrorist in the photo) and i sent off our NY and VA documents for final state certification.
Lord willing everything should all come together in January sometime and we will send off our dossier to Washington DC for stateside approval.
From our family to yours have a great Christmas holiday!!! We are so looking foward to what the Lord has for our family in the year 2006!
