I received this email from our agency today . . . this current time frame now into Novemeber. That is all for now.
China: As mentioned in last week's update, the China program received referrals for families logged in on November 9, 2005 (group 237) on Friday, July 6th. Currently, the CCAA (China Center of Adoption Affairs) has matched families with a log in date (LID) on or before November 14, 2005. Typically, referrals are spaced about one month apart, so America World anticipates receiving another set in early August. By the time America World's next group of families (group 238 with an LID of November 16, 2005) receives referrals, these families will have waited about 21 months, thus the current wait time is 21 months from LID to referral. Unfortunately, the trend over the past year and a half has been for the wait to increase, and it is very likely that this trend could continue. Families are encouraged to continue checking the Weekly Update for the most recent information on the wait time as it fluctuates. As always, America World staff continues to lift families up in prayer through the difficult wait.
